Recently, entrusted by the Ministry of Public Security, the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Road Traffic Safety and Public Security (Institute of Traffic Management Science, Ministry of Public Security) has accepted the research project on the relationship between braking heat recession and braking failure of heavy trucks undertaken by the judicial appraisal of Suzhou Huabi Microscience Detection Technology Co., Ltd. The thermal fading test platform built in this project can be used to study the thermal fading simulation test of different types of heavy truck brakes. The proposed thermal fading identification method can be used to guide the follow-up thermal fading failure analysis and provide identification methods for identical identification cases. Experts of the project group agree that the subject is pioneering and innovative, and the research results fill the gaps in the field of identification methods.
